Ásdís Eva Hannesdóttir

Ásdís Eva is managing director of the Nordic Association in Iceland and has served as an alternate member on the board of the Snorri Foundation for several years. Ásdís Eva earned a degree in human resource management as well as an MBA from the University of Iceland and also holds a degree in information technology from the University of Gothenburg.
Starting in 1982, Ásdís Eva worked for Icelandair for over two decades, first as cabin crew and later as Director of Customer Service. She also served as President of the Cabin Crew Association in Iceland from 2001-2005. She is currently chair of the board for the Free Pension Fund.
Ásdís Eva has ancestors on both sides of her family who immigrated to North America and is actually the third cousin of fellow board member and Snorri West Co-Director Jody Arman-Jones. Ásdís Eva is married and has three grown children and two granddaughters. She loves traveling and playing golf, and she starts every day with a swim in Vesturbæjarlaug pool.
